ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is aimed at having an empirical investigation into the menace of herdsmen banditry attacks on Nigeria Churches. Survey research design and convenience sampling method was employed for the study. 200 respondent who are residents of Kaduna South Local Government in Kaduna State were purporsively selected which forms the population for the study. Using questionnaire as an instrument, 189 were retrieved and validated for the study. Data was analyzed using frequencies and tables which provided answers to the research question. Findings from the study revealed the herdsmen banditry attack has cause a great deal of harm to christian communities ranging from bombing their worship centres, raiding their markets, burning their houses , razing their farmlands, kidnapping and killing them to mention but a few. the study therefore recommends that, Government should stop politicizing the open grazing which is one of the trigerring factors that fuel this menace and also the security operatives should be empowered on finding strategies that vwill help them ccurb this menace since this is appearing to be ethno-religious in nature before it gets out of hand.
